Off to Mankato
I made it through my week’s office obligations, so I am again taking a four day weekend. This time I am going to the Mankato history festival with colgaffneyis. I have not done this event before, so I do not really know what it is like.
mia_mcdavid has, but she is not feeling well. So I am going alone for now. Mia will follow later if she is up to it.

Big Island Friday
At Big Island
I got here about 1 PM, after a routine trip down. This was during show hours, so I could not drive on-site. I had expected this, and packed one bag with what I would need fot the afternoon. So I parked in the off-site lot and took that bag with me on the free shuttle bus. I will go out after closing to bring the car in to unload. Mia and J are coming down later this evening.
I was scheduled for a demo to a school group at 3:30, but nobody showed. So I am posting this from my Blackberry. I may post again tomorrow if the battery holds out.
I took a short walk around site. It is still as magical as on my first visit several years ago.
