I first learned about science fiction fandom in the spring of 1968, more than 40 years ago. I attended my first convention a year later. So I have been a part of fandom, and vice versa, for more than 2/3 of my life.
mia_mcdavid is upstairs taking a nap. I am back in the music room, listening to 3 Pints Gone, with a Guinness in front of me :-)>
…. the biggest local science-fiction convention. mia_mcdavid and our son J are already there. It is the tenth anniversary for this con, so they are extending it for an extra day. Hence we will be returning home on Sunday. The holiday helps.

I first reworded the English to

Which I translated
as
Cíoch sicín le buiste ríc fiáin as
Minnesota
