Overdue, but done well
Treatment of Alan Turing was “appalling” – PM

The technology for linking internet ads to content still has some way to go. When I first saw this it was linked to an ad for Ann Coulter. The thought of how she would react to this news was good for a chuckle.
Turing’s work on math and computers is part of the permanent record of human achievement. It will be recalled as fundamental when all of our current political and social controversies are mere historical curiosities.

Saturday night and Sunday
My job requires that I occasionally work on evenings and weekends, doing things that cannot be done in normal business hours. Fortunately, in most cases I can do the job remotely by logging on to the County network from home. That helps a lot. Also, in most cases the job is goes according to plan and does not take too long. I was thinking about composing a suitable entry for APL, the first programming language I used professionally (1977-1984), but it is late and I need to go to bed.
