Treatment of Alan Turing was “appalling” – PM

The technology for linking internet ads to content still has some way to go. When I first saw this it was linked to an ad for Ann Coulter. The thought of how she would react to this news was good for a chuckle.
Turing’s work on math and computers is part of the permanent record of human achievement. It will be recalled as fundamental when all of our current political and social controversies are mere historical curiosities.

‘A Different Point of View’ raises awareness of autism
This exhibit is in downtown Minneapolis, on the lower (“A”) level of the Hennepin County Government Center, by the fountain and near the Service Center—Where you get license tabs, etc. I work for the County and saw it after a meeting nearby this morning. It will be on display until Sept. 28.

I saw this bicycle in downtown Minneapolis today:
It has a cargo platform, with an extra wheel, welded onto the left side. It has three wheels, but calling it a tricycle is misleading. It is more like a bicycle with a sidecar.
