Tuesday night was the March meeting of colgaffneyis Board. Despite the inevitable tedious business (“A board is long, hard, and narrow. It is made of wood.”–Arthur C. Clarke), it felt good. It was the first time in nearly a year that I felt we had been at full strength. For much of 2005 one key position was held in succession by two individuals who really were not up to the job. We solved that problem late in the year, but only because the Vice President took the job. That in turn left us us without a VP until the elections at last month’s membership meeting.
Good Meeting
