Well, I did not have to go to the office today. But…. Tom had no school, and no aide until nearly 3PM. So mia_mcdavid and I had to keep him entertained and out of trouble until then. This actually went OK, and the aide did come as scheduled.

But….a few minutes after the aide arrived James (#1 son) brings his laptop up to me and asked me to fix the sound. So I ended up spending an hour working on his computer. I got all the drivers installed and everything working. I could have let it go at that, but I figured I should run the anti-spyware and anti-virus programs, since James probably had not done so anytime lately. Sure enough, Ad-Aware caught a bunch of bad registry entries.

As a result I was an hour late getting over to the Health Club, but I did get in my workout there. After that I went to the hardware store to get a few items, then home. The boys ate early so I cooked a pasta dinner for Mia and me, using some of the ham left over from last weekend’s party. Our friend, the Pig!
