Nick was out this evening, but he left us some exercises to work on. The
first was a set of conversational questions for us to answer and discuss
as Gaeilge.

First exercise–vocabulary
níos deacra ná more difficult than
An féidir leat…? Is is possible for you to…?
a bheith cónaí ort to live (lit. “in living on you”)
gluaisteán car (automobile)
faoi láthair at present
An chóir leat…? Do you think it is right to…? Lit. “Is it right with you to …?”

caith spend, wear out, consume
caitheamh wear, spending, consumption

The second exercise was a set of sentences where the verbs were in
the wrong tense/person. We had fix the verbs based on the context. We did not
finish this, let alone make it to the third exercise.
