As mia_mcdavid mentioned, we went to Church yesterday morning. One of the clergy, beloved by all, was leaving and this was her last Sunday. We will miss her, but it is not all sadness. She will be getting her own church, which she certainly deserves and is ready to manage. For me, I am happy that the church is in Northfield, where she will also be doing campus ministry at Carleton. She should fit in quite well there, and be an asset to the campus.

In the afternoon, while Mia visted Tom and ran errands, I did some woodworking in the shop. I was there for several hours. Since I have not had much shop time in the past couple months this was quite a binge, and I was exhausted by evening (I was not using power tools).

I would like to do more woodworking today, but I don’t know if I will have the time: I will again be helping c_nocturnum and her husband with painting their new house. Mia is already there, having done other errands on the way.
