Quiet day in Colorado

My mother was up before I was, going about her morning routine, much as I have seen it over the last 20 years. Just somewhat slower. She had the local classical music station on. The announcers sound a lot like those of WFMT in Chicago. When I mentioned this to Mom she said that some of them were from that station.

We went out in the morning on a couple errands, but otherwise it was a very quiet day. I exchanged some e-mails about work (no crisis, just routine stuff) and colgaffneyis business. We both took naps in the afternoon. In the evening my brother Raven came by and I went over to his house for dinner. It was good to see Anne (his wife) and Ian (their younger son) again. The other two children are away.

Looks like I will not be seeing Tom (my brother in Seattle) on this trip. He will not be coming here until next week. His mother-in-law just died, and he has plenty to do with that side of the family.
