I thought some more about my recent request for time off, and talked to J who will have to take care of anything that comes up in my absence. J was really fine about this, so I asked again and got tomorrow afternoon off.

Of course, this issue of coverage only applies to us peons who have to do the work. Both our supervisor and his manager will be out tomorrow.

Anyway, this means that mia_mcdavid and I get to leave early for colgaffneyis show in Perham. We will only be taking one car, which will be nice. We should be able to get there by late afternoon, and set up our tent by daylight. smuzikant, rhymeswithghoti, and others will be up there as well. An excellent working crew. Unfortunately, the trailer with all of our corporate tents and equipment will not arrive until late. Looks like a long evening’s work will follow.
