We are all set up. Not quite as easy as my earlier post had suggested. We had to rotate the Cook’s Fly 90^o–having it face west with a westerly wind might have had spectacularly messy consequences. Also, I had to finish digging the fire pit. The ground is tough and that was hard work.

I had brought along some of my woodworking tools. The brace and bit came in handy to finish preparing a ridge pole for one of the trooper tents.

The last hour has been very pleasant. A good dinner and relaxing with friends, outside in perfect weather. But the week is catching up to me. Bedtime soon.
