….cut short when I found my front brake did not work. I had lost one of the brake pads. I was able to buy a replacement at the local bike shop, and alter it to fit–the bicycle is about 25 years old, so I saw no point in looking for an exact match. After the repair took it around the block. Not much of a ride, but the thrill is still there, and the old machine still works.
