Back in early 2005 I inherited the position of being webmaster for colgaffneyis, my predecessor having managed a very creditable imitation of dropping off the face of the Earth. The site was a mess. It still is–it had been neglected for years, and I have not had nearly the time (or, frankly, the inclination) for the effort of properly redoing it. However, I have made numerous small corrections and updates.

Today I made some changes people might actually notice–I altered the front page, and two section index pages. The new links work, and make important parts of the site much easier to find. Excellent.

Of course, as soon as I uploaded the new pages I noticed some other things that really need to be fixed. Sigh…..
