Well almost–I have to write a $2.00 check and mail the returns for James. He needed separate returns this year, because of a small distribution from a trust fund my mother set up. We had this reported as his income rather than ours. I think that saved us a couple hundred dollars.
Our main return, filed electronically, as been accepted by the IRS and its Minnesota counterpart. All we have to do is wait for the money, about $450, to be debited from the bank account.
I could have filed for James electronically, but why pay the fee for a $2.00 payment?
It’s a wonderful day out….time for a bike ride.
