Rumor at work has it that employee internet usage is going to be much more strictly monitored. So I am looking at getting some kind of portable device with wireless so I can keep in touch during the day. Money is tight–I cannot afford a good modern laptop. So I am considering either an older (P3-Win 98) laptop or some kind of PDA/Tablet device.

I got to the Health Club on Wednesday, and again yesterday. That felt good. I will see if I can manage three times a week regularly.

I have done some cleanup around the house lately. My office corner of the basement is looking quite good now. I also put away several bags of James’s toys that had been cluttering the fireplace area adjacent to it.

We got a Christmas tree yesterday, and put it up this afternoon. The lights and a garland are on it, and we will put up the ornaments in the next couple days.

As some of you may know, I like fountain pens. My best pen (a Pelikan 200 with a gold nib) got clogged and would not write. While trying to clean it out the nib came apart on me. ….Really sick feeling…. However, yesterday I was able to glue it back together. Today I tried it out and it is actually working just fine!
