I shut down the old Pentium 3 system that I had been using for e-mail, moving the e-mail to another system. Necessary steps:

1. Copy my e-mail directory, and all of its subfolders (my various mail) files to the new system.
2. Install fetchmail, alpine and procmail on the new system. They were not present in the Ubuntu system I was using. This may require some additions to the software sources (repositories).
3. Copy the files .fetchmailrc, .procmailrc, and .pinerc to the new system.
