Somebody obviously does where I work, the Information Technology Department of a substantial bureaucracy. Like all such organizations, we have an IT Security Unit, which is supposed to keep the rest of us in line. We were told yesterday that one of those folks was no longer employed here. No advance notice–suddenly he was gone.

I have no idea what he did nor did not do. As in all such departures, no official reason was given.
